This is Christmas, the time where all of we; the people, try to remember the meaning of life, and the reason of all the blessings that we get from the Lord. The season of the year that reminds us how lucky we are of having families, having food, a home to go to, and caring people that surround and envelope us with their love. As it is time of joy and blessing, it is the time where all the injustice, inequity, and misery of the needed increase the most. On one hand we have malls with thousands of persons shopping like ravenous; while on the other, we have millions that are starving to death. We get fancy commercials about all the discounts that stores have for us but they don’t show us the lack of water that African countries have, the lack of water that the world have. We see all messages fulfilled of love, happiness and peace desires from everyone, but there are just a few that do something to change the situation of the poor people.
In this time of the year let`s try to make conscience of our lives and re-think the roll that we have on our society.
